Many, many moons ago I started this blog as a place to share my trip around Lake Superior. It was 2011 and I was taking a 9-day road trip with my hubby and dog around the greatest of Great Lakes before starting a new job in rural healthcare. It seems appropriate to be sitting near the shores of that same lake today as I say good-bye.
It is crazy to think about how much has changed and how much remains the same. Still married with a dog named Joey. Lake Superior is still the greatest of the Great Lakes. Coffee remains my best friend. My day job still involves healthcare. My passion for writing is just as deep, if not moreso.
Hence, my new venture. This week I launched my new website. A place where I can talk about books I love and parenting mishaps, outdoor adventures and what it means to live my life in alignment only to fail and try again. A place where I can celebrate rural living and hate running in the same sentence, all while sipping a margarita made from Teremana tequila.
I hope you’ll consider checking it out and following me along. Cheers to new beginnings!
